I wonder whether there are any tools in that that I know it gives a directory of little command line EXEs no harm in that(and maybe some other things in the directory). It's possible that it doesn't just do that though that it makes a configuration change that clashes. There is this message and it seems a little strange if something so crucially useful would trigger a message like that, so it suggests to me that maybe there's something else one should install, some later version somewhere. I don't know what happened why no server 2008 tools. Maybe MS wants people to only have those tools if they use server 2008.
